In support of our core purpose, Chicago Metro presents a week long summer day camp to introduce female high school students to the construction industry as a viable career option. They are exposed to many facets of the industry from professional careers such as architect, engineer, project manager to skilled trades such as carpenter, electrician, etc. as well as support roles in sales, accounting, etc. Local companies commit to hosting the campers and chapter members participate as camp counselors and mentors.
