The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is a professional association comprised of women in construction and related industries. The national chapter was established in 1955 by 16 founding members. Today, women in more than 120 chapters across 47 states are NAWIC members. You can become a chapter member by completing the online application, by attending a chapter meeting, or by requesting an application from the NAWIC office. Student memberships are open to female students enrolled in construction-related programs at institutions of higher education and vocational programs. NAWIC also offers memberships not affiliated with a local chapter. To find out more about the different types of memberships, visit www.nawic.org. A company can apply for one or more corporate chapter memberships or become a NAWIC Sponsor.
