25th Anniversary of Women in Construction Week!

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Women in Construction Week. The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a critical component of the construction industry. Since 1997, NAWIC chapters all over the country have been celebrating with events to promote women in the industry, provide training and events to further their careers, to give back to the community, and to celebrate the achievements they've made.

Each WIC Week, the Chicago Metro chapter holds a celebratory fundraiser in Chicago. Our event provides a fun networking opportunity while highlighting the advancements made to date by women dedicated to construction and raising funds to support the future of Women in Construction.

This year, our event will be held on Thursday, March 9th at City Hall Events in the West Loop from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Our celebration features networking with over 150 industry friends, heavy appetizers, and an open bar.

Funds raised this year will support our local Camp NAWIC - a week-long camp to teach local high school girls about career opportunities within the construction industry, as well as the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF), and Chicago Women in Trades (CWIT).

We'd love to see you and your teams there. All are welcome!
