Camp NAWIC is a one-week summer camp to introduce high school girls to the construction industry as a viable career option. We offer hands on learning opportunities and introduce campers to successful women in the construction industry. Camp NAWIC demonstrates NAWIC’s commitment to increasing the number of women choosing careers in the construction industry.

This year we are partnering with Westinghouse High School in Chicago and WE NEED YOUR HELP.

 

We need your help with the following:

• Volunteers  - a half day 1 Day or all 5 Days 

• Companies - Does your company want to volunteer to present their expertise to the girls?
  We are looking for companies to volunteer for one day with an activity or site tour. 
  If anyone has connections with one of the unions that would be great as well.

Camp will be held Monday, July 10th – Friday, July 14th, 8:00 am – 12:00 noon.  Lunch will provided each day.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Volunteers are asked to commit to the entire day.

• Volunteers can meet us at the Westinghouse High School pick up point or at the location – please indicate which on the form.

• 2-3 volunteers are needed each day.

• Please bring your PPE

• Volunteers must be NAWIC Chapter members due to insurance requirements.

• All volunteers must go through the CPS background check
